Q: Are your games legal in my State?
A: We are manufacturers and sellers of games, not attorneys, nor are
we permitted by law to provide legal advice to any third party. We
know without doubt the games are legal in New Jersey and Maryland.
Generally speaking, any State that allows amusement arcades, skill
games and redemption operations should recognize our licensing and
credentials. We highly suggest you consult a competent attorney
referred by your State Amusement Association for a valid legal
opinion prior to placing our games into operation.
Q: What is the difference between a slot
machine and our skill game?
A: Most, if not all slot machines are are
controlled by a computer that runs a program commonly known as a
random number generator (RNG). The RNG cycles through all possible
combinations of symbols and outcomes that appear on the reels or
video images that display on the game or device. Upon insertion of a
coin, currency or token, an outcome is selected by the computer
without any input from the player. Whether you win or lose is
determined by chance and you are gambling. A skill game
requires player input to determine the outcome of a game. Whether
you win or lose is completely and totally dependent on the skill of
the player. In our games, failure of the player to provide any input
results in the game being voided and credit is given for the prior
insertion.
Q: How do I know the game is honest?
A: Our games are certified by a New Jersey State approved testing
lab that verifies the operation of the game by conducting a series
of tests to determine that all legal requirements are met for a
bona-fide amusement game. The lab certifies that the games meet or
exceed all requirements to be certified as an amusement game that is
exempted from the jurisdiction of the Casino Control Commission and
Division of Gaming Enforcement as a non-gaming device. High speed
cameras are used to ensure that upon selection by the player to stop
a reel, the reel will stop in a consistent fashion every time the
game is played, Approved labs certify gaming devices, as well as
non-gaming devices, and certify games by identifying the
operating chips that control the operation of the game. These chips
can be verified in the field with a testing device known as a
Kobetron.
Q: Can you control or alter the payout percentage
or hold percentage?
A: It is possible to program a theoretical payout percentage and
that is determined mathematically. The percentages we currently use
are between 80 percent for a charity game and up to 1000 percent
plus for redemption games. The skill factor will affect payout
percentages as It is possible, although improbable, that a player
could win every game. There is no possible way to program or insure
a hold percentage to the operator without a random number generator
program and there is none in our games.
Q: Can you prove or document your
statements are true and your games are legal?
A: Yes, all games are shipped with a Certificate of Permissibility issued
by the New Jersey Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission, a
Division of the New Jersey Attorney Generals Office. We can
guarantee that our games are legal in New Jersey, a State that has
legalized gaming and exempts our games from the jurisdiction of the
Casino Control Commission and Division of Gaming Enforcement. Lab reports are
available and furnished upon request for every game we sell. We can
also provide copies of all licensing documents upon request
Q: Can I get games made to my specifications and design?
A: Yes, we can produce games that are customized and made to order for your particular application. They can be configured to accept coin, currency, token or free play and payout can be in the form of currency, token, ticket or printer output. Our line includes amusement, redemption, charity and promotional games to cover all segments of the market. All configurations are not allowable in all venues and we highly suggest you consult with knowledgeable legal counsel prior to ordering or putting our games into operation. We suggest your State amusement association for referral to attorneys that are familiar with your local laws and regulations.
Q: How long does it take to get games?
A: Standard games that we currently produce can usually be shipped in 30 days or less depending upon inventory in stock. Custom or special order games, dependent upon complexity and design, can usually be shipped in 90 days or less. Quantity, type, and complexity of the desired units is also a factor and we can advise you as to estimated delivery times upon placement of an order.
Q: How do I order games?
A: Games are ordered by the use of a purchase order to ensure the specific game ordered is produced to your specifications and no errors are made. We will fax a copy of our order form that you may use as a guide in the ordering process and will assist if necessary to assure that you receive the exact units desired.
Q: What are your payment terms?
A: We require a 50 percent deposit with the purchase order and full payment prior to shipping unless prior arrangements are made.
Q: Do you do leasing or revenue share arrangements?
A: Yes, we do both on a case by case basis. Most leasing is handled through commercial leasing companies and we suggest you source locally. Revenue share is fairly common in New Jersey and relatively simple to control in-State. Out of State revenue share is another matter for obvious reasons. We can discuss this option if you have an interest in this type of program.
Q: Are your looking for distributors or route operators?
A: Yes, subject to qualification criteria.
Q: Do you offer a warranty of any type?
A: All games are thoroughly tested before they leave our plant however, even new parts can sometimes fail and things can be damaged or jarred in the shipping process. Most problems are easily solved with a simple reset or ram clear procedure detailed in our owners manual or over the phone with one of our technicians. All games are warranted for all parts for a period of 90 days, FOB Vineland, NJ for all other problems.
Q: I have a specific question not listed here, do you have an answer?
A: Yes, Email is best as we have an opportunity to forward the inquiry to the proper department.
